These are A-MAZ-ING! I will be making these brownies regularly from now on! I had the privilege of opening my home to a chef to film a promotional video for the federal food program for all MN providers recently. The kids participated in the filming of five different recipes. This was one of the recipes. We all fell in the love with the taste of these brownies! They are high in protein, contain no flour, and are certainly more healthy than most brownies! You must try them!
Recipe adapted from All Recipes
2 (15.5 oz.) cans of black beans, drained and rinsed
6 eggs
6 T. Vegetable Oil
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 pinches of salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 12 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a glass 9x13 baking dish.
Combine all the ingredients except for the chocolate chips in a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth. Stir in chocoalte chips and pour batter into pan.
Bake in preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan a bit (or until a toothpick comes out clean); roughly 40-45 minutes.
