These are truly one of the easiest sweets I have ever made. They are super tasty and I cannot imagine anyone not liking them. They are perfect for goodie bags/party favors. The original recipe calls for pecan halves for the top instead of M&M's; both of which are good. Also, you can use regular, square or circle shaped pretzels. I have seen them work with all of them.
Recipe from Mommy's Kitchen
Circle shaped pretzels
Rolo Candies
M&M's
Start by preheating your oven to 250 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place pretzels individually to form one layer only.
Unwrap all the Rolo candies (this is perfect for the kids to help out with).
Place one Rolo Candy in the center of each pretzel. Place the baking tray in a 250 degrees oven for 4 minutes or until the candies softened. You just want the candy warm not melted. Immediately remove the chocolate covered pretzels from the oven, they will look shiny and soft. Quickly place an M&M on top of a Rolo and push down to squish the chocolate into the pretzel and flatten it out. Cool for 20 minutes, then place uncovered in refrigerator for about 20 minutes to set. When the candy is set, transfer to a serving plate or add to individual clear gift sacks.
If you are using pecans it has been recommended to toast them first.
Toasting Pecans: To toast pecans, spread them out on a plate and microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Stir the pecans around with your hand in between cooking times until toasted.

Thanks for sending some into work with Paul! These are great and I'm making them with Addison this morning! She's having a blast helping me out! Steve :)
