Quick 'n' Easy Cream Cheese Filled Cinnamon Rolls

These are so yummy and super quick and easy! Just unroll the Pillsbury seamless sheet of crescent rolls, spread on the cream cheese mixture, roll dough up like a cinnamon roll, slice and bake in muffin tin.

Recipe adapted from Mommy's Kitchen

1 package Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
(preferable the seamless package where it is one rolled sheet of pastry per package)
1 8oz package softened cream cheese
1/2 Cup sugar
1 Tablespoons cinnamon

Glaze:
1 1/2 Cups powdered sugar
4 Tablespoons heavy cream (you can substitute milk, but it won't be as rick and creamy)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove pastry roll from packaging. Unroll the dough so that it is in the shape of rectangle. Place cream cheese, sugar and cinnamon into a medium bowl. Beat until well combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the sheet of dough leaving about 1/4 inch border around edges. Roll dough starting with the long side of the rectangle as if you were making cinnamon rolls. Pinch the seam shut. Cut 1 inch pieces and place all 12 pieces into greased muffin tin. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until slightly golden around edges and cooked through (I think I baked mine for 19 minutes). While the rolls are cooling combine powdered sugar and heavy cream until thick and drizzle ready. With a spoon, drizzle icing over each roll.

This is what they looked like fresh out of the oven before the glaze was put on.
